myHuddersfield.com has been added to google. At the same time, we are being added to many other major search engines. This was the step we had been waiting on for a few weeks. This and our continual optimization of myHuddersfield.com towards search engines will continue to improve the visibility of the site on the internet. |
As part of our continual drive to improve the quality of the service we offer our customers and users, myHuddersfield.com plan to migrate Internet hosting companies during the week beginning Monday 16th October 2006. The hosting company is the company we pay to save and display myHuddersfield.com on the Internet. Amongst other factors, the new hosting company, streamline.Net, is UK based and will build upon our already impressive site uptime, and offer additional features including increased search engine submissions and complimentary internet advertising. To customers and users, this will make the site available 99.9% of the time, and even easier to find on search engines.
We anticipate that the site will experience temporary interruptions and downtime while we upload the code and database structures to the new hosts. These interruptions are likely to occur during the week following Monday 16th October.
We thank you for your patience during and look forward to the improved services we will be able to offer.
